Claremont Cricket Club first played in 1867 and was formally constituted in 1876. The first ‘home’ of the Club was on Palmyra Road, Claremont, adjacent to the railway station. Our grounds are looked after and well managed by our very experienced ground staff. This team is headed by Richard Schultz, a former provincial cricket player. He, together with his team has delivered great wickets, excellent playing conditions and ensuring that the grounds are always beautifully maintained.
