Coaching

The clubs head coach is the esteemed and highly experienced Allison Johnson. 

A former Barbados and Western Province fast bowler. Allison has over 33 years of coaching experience in England and South Africa and has taken up coaching roles across almost all Western Province junior provincial teams from Standard Bank under 13 to PG Bison under 15 to MTN under 17 and Coke Week under 19.

Allison has extensive experience across many clubs and schools across the Western Cape including Green Point Cricket Club, Hollywood Bets Bellville, Langa and St. Augustine’s Cricket Club. At a school level, Allison coached Paarl Boys High School and Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

In his third season at Claremont Cricket Club, Allison coached the 1st team side that created history by winning the double - Alma 20/20 and WPCA league trophy for 2022/23 respectively.
