The tree-lined Claremont grounds have an upper and lower field separated by the Martin Brand Pavilion which accommodates “The Clubhouse” (https://www.theclubhouse.co.za/) a fully licensed family-style eatery with spectacular views of Table Mountain across the cricket fields. The fields themselves are the “R J E Burt Oval” and the lower playing field named the “Arderne Oval”, each have several test standard grass decks, adjustable side screens and scoreboards. The facilities for the cricket club also include change rooms, showers, multiple practice grass and astro training nets. Our full time groundsman will prepares pitches well in advance of matchday while covers, boundary ropes, stumps etc. are also provided to all league matches and touring teams.
